AIN'T NOTHIN' GONNA BREAK MY STRIDE
The phrase "Blue Bird" is often used to describe a "perfect" day for hitting the slopes. A day marked by cloudless blue skies, and beaming rays of sunshine.
But, what if (in life) we made "Blue Bird" less about the objective weather, and more about the way we CHOOSE to see the day that lies ahead? What if we simply woke up and...decided, that today is going to be a blue bird day?
We're going to feel good. We're going to crush our workout. We're going to say nice things when we glance in the mirror.
Regardless of any factors that lay beyond our control.
That, to me, is a blue bird day.
For the graphic, I partnered with an incredible female artist [@muralmule on IG] to bring my vision to reality - and she nailed it. The hippo is our company mascot (he still doesn't have a name), but he's featured skiing on a blue bird day - with some retro gear to boot. Meant to symbolize those of us that wake up and make a conscious effort to have a damn good day. Those of us that refuse to let anything swallow up our light.
The shirt itself is an oversized, heavyweight (250gsm) crewneck t-shirt with dropped shoulders. It has a light vintage stone wash and light distressing (so it looks like your dad's old tee - not your grandpa's). Oh, and it's made with 100% organic cotton, too.
These shirts are NO.003 of 5 in the hippo collection. There was only 150 of these shirts made, and there will never be more.
